Q: Where did you get your information?
A: At LunchDates, the Boston-based dating service that I ran for 23 years, I was involved in interviewing and listening to feedback from approximately 25,000 single, divorced, and widowed men and women from all over New England. During those interviews we asked people what they were looking for in a member of the opposite sex. We also listened to feedback that the members gave their counselors after their dates. After doing thousands of interviews over two decades and absorbing these insights and priorities, I could predict with some certainty how “marketable” somebody would be to the opposite sex. That sense of “marketability” can be translated into one’s DQ.
